Students of last year of the navigation and naval weapons Faculty at our Academy, representing Saudi Arabia, have spent the second half of September 2020 actively exercising practical ship’s maneuvering procedures. Their maneuvering practical exercises were organized in the Gulf of Gdansk,
as well as in the waters of the port of Gdynia.    

The training encompassed a wide range of exercises, starting with managing hawsers by mooring and anchoring operations, rescuing castaways, towing, in-port maneuvering, and finally commanding maneuvering groups.

All the mentioned elements trained belong to practical ship’s command skills and knowledge which soon are going to be used by the students in practice.
