From the 17th of June to the 19th of June the 8th Functional Clearing House on Defence Education took place in Budapest/Hungary - annual summary conference of the NATO - DEEP Programme (Defence Education Enhancement Programme). The main goal of the Program is to enhance of the international security throughout profesionalisation of the officers and civilian employees education system in the partner states according to the NATO standards. Currently, the following countres benefit the Programme: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzhstan, North Macedonia, Mauretania, Moldova, Mobgolia, Serbia, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.  The next countries Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iraq and Morocco have joined the Program in 2018. For 6 years, The Academy has been actively participating in the NATO DEEP supporting professional development of Naval Forces of Ukraine by organising numerous trainings and workshops.
